Marijuana Grow Lights- Expert Level

900 Watt LED Grow LightsOkay, now we mean business, the gloves are coming off and it’s go time. This list contains highly rated 900-watt LED marijuana grow lights, once again, based on my own personal experience and customer reviews.

These are mostly for novice/expert level folks who want the best out of their indoor plants. They cover medium to large size grow operations (6-8 plants, with daisy chain option 10+).

The average grow area coverage of these marijuana grow lights is 4.5’x4.5’ at 24” height (Max coverage 5.5’x5.5’). Listed lights are currently the lowest price available anywhere online.

My #1 Top Pick

My 2 cents: California Lightworks marijuana grow lights have a unique spectrum which combines fluorescent accents to their existing LED frame which enhances growth and yields. They are built to the highest standard and has the most power in this class. Its OSRAM SSL LEDs are top of the line and give this light a life expectancy of 80,000 hours. But it's their performance which makes their light one of the best on the market. Expensive? Yes. It comes down to what you're trying to achieve. Perfection comes at a price and that's what you can expect from this light. If you want the absolute best results you can possibly get out of your cannabis, this light definitely is your answer. My rating 4.9 outta 5.

The build quality is one of the best, plus they boast the highest powered full spectrum performance in this class. Truth be known, they have reliability like no other with a 5-year warranty that is the best in the business to back my claim! My 2 cents: This is Viparspectra's second entry in the 900w series and has all the features you need. This marijuana grow light has a different shape than the original model allowing it more coverage along with upgraded 5-watt diodes. Both lights are powered by the same wattage but this light has an advantage because each diode is bigger so each receives less power which extends the life of the light to 50,000 hours. These full spectrum lights have proven to generate max yields while being dependable and are a worthwhile investment for all types of growers. My rating 4.7 outta 5.

My # 4 Pick - Value and Dependability

My 2 cents: If you read my previous reviews about Meizhi LED marijuana grow lights, you know I am a fan. This light is a favorite of mine because it has all the best features and identical performance as the other lights on my list and for the lowest price. Put 2-3 of these lights together and you'll have a huge grow area with huge yields! I'm satisfied with my Meizhi lights, I know you will be too. If you are on a tight budget and you still want performance and reliability, Meizhi is the way to go. My rating 4.5 outta 5.

New Arrival - Solid Performance

My 2 cents: The latest addition to MaxBlooms X Plus series is the X8 with Cree COB which are the best chips you can buy. This light has mid-range output when compared with to the top lights on my list yet it produces the same results. It has a large coverage area of 6' x 5' due to the Cree COB's (4) and 5-watt Epistar LED's (96) with 90 degree lenses. I have used this light for one grow and the results were equal to the more expensive lights on my list. Another good feature to the X8 is they are waterproof so moisture is not a problem. Overall this light performs with the best of them and is affordable as well so you cannot afford to pass this one by. I know you will be impressed and so does MaxBloom because they stand by their products with a "no questions asked" return policy. My rating 4.9 outta 5.

I can appreciate the need for these led grow lights. i am gardener and i grow plants in a greenhouse and when plants grown from seed reach a certain height they need light more than warmth. These type of lights would be highly recommended for this. type of job.Your post has certainly hit the point right on the nail.

Thank you for your comment and yes, I fully agree with you. From seed to sprout, the process is a delicate one. In the beginning warmth and mild light are favored but once the sprout matures and becomes more hardy, more intense sunlight is required for optimal growth. There are many benefits to LED lights so hopefully you can put them to good work. Thank you once again for your comment. If you have any questions, just let me know, I’m here to help!

The lights listed are not your average LED light. They have a more green purpose than basic lighting.  These LED’s are uncomfortable to look at but bring comfort in other ways.
